Scenic Spring Walking Trails in Southern Maine
Spring is a very *interesting* season. The weather fluctuates regularly, which can cause some really messy hiking conditions in the mountains. While i’m waiting for hiking trails to get sorted out, I like to shake things up by exploring local walking trails during the months of April and May and I encourage you to do the same! Hiking Pleasant Mountain via Southwest Ridge Trail
Pleasant Mountain is a heavily trafficked network of trails that reach up to 2006ft in elevation. Pleasant Mountain the tallest mountain in Southern Maine. It is accessible year-round and dog-friendly, offering hiking, walking, snowshoeing, bird watching, and trail running. It’s a great option for day hiking that provides great views of Western Maine and the whites.
